About Our Course Providers

Registrations Prior to 8/28/19 — Indiana Online Driver Improvement

Registrations from this website prior to August 28, 2019 are registered through approved provider Indiana Online Driver Improvement. Students for these programs are required to complete all training elements, graduate from their program and have their completion reported to the state prior to program end on October 26, 2019. Any program not completed by that time is ineligible for completion, and fees paid for incomplete programs are considered forfeited. Students will be required to choose another provider, purchase a new program, and complete program requirements in entirety to receive a completion certificate.

Registrations After 10/10/19 — Improv Comedy Traffic School

Starting October 10, 2019, the Indiana Online Driver Improvement course will be provided by Improv Comedy Traffic School. Improv traffic school is an Indiana BMV-approved Driver Safety Program provider.

Registrations After 09/09/21 — At Your Pace Online

Starting September 9, 2021, the Indiana Online Driver Improvement course will be provided by At Your Pace Online. At Your Pace Online is an Indiana BMV-approved Driver Safety Program provider.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I take the Indiana Online Driver Improvement course?

Most drivers take our course to remove traffic ticket points from their driving records. You may have been asked by your employer to reinforce safe driving habits, or just want to enhance your knowledge of traffic laws. Seniors and teens also take the course to improve their safety behind the wheel.

How can I get a copy of my certificate?

After you complete the course, you can log into your account at any time to view and print your certificate.

How do I receive course credit?

Upon completion, we will automatically submit your certificate directly to the Indiana BMV on your behalf. We also send you a copy of your certificate via USPS mail so that you may submit it to the court.

How quickly can I complete the course?

Our online defensive driving course will take you 4 hours to complete. It includes video content, reading materials, and open-book quizzes. You cannot take the final quiz until you have spent 4 hours in the course.
